Recently refurbished, 1st Floor, 1 bedroom apartment, sleeps 4, with a spacious balcony and overlooks landscaped gardens and pool. 100 metres walk from the gorgeous, unspoilt, sandy beach of Cala Santanyi.
ACTIVITIES
As well as the activities on the beach, the area is particularly well placed for diving, (dive school based on the beach), coastal walks, cycling and golf. Traditional Santanyi Town has a huge twice weekly market which offers local produce, fashion, jewellery and much much more. Built around a beautiful Cathedral and town square, Santanyi Town offers varied restaurants, many with courtyard dining, artist studios and fashion boutiques.
Bus links will take you to other beaches, Santanyi Town and Cala D’Or (25 minutes away). Palma is 1 hour by bus and is well worth a visit, with it’s stunning Cathedral, Palace and Castle, as well as brilliant shopping, restaurants and bars.
The Starfish boat can be boarded in the traditional fishing village of Cala Figuera and will take you up and down the East Coast, stopping at coves and beaches as far as Cala D'Or.
Horse riding, wine tasting, fishing trips, jeep safari and numerous boat trips can all be booked locally.
APARTMENT
The first floor, one bedroom apartment, which sleeps 4, is in a rural complex, with a pool and is 100 metres from the beach.
The apartment comprises of an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, equipped with fridge, hob, extractor fan and breakfast bar. Two sofas can be made up as single or double beds, television and movie box, ceiling fan, wardrobe and patio doors to the large balcony, with table and chairs. The bedroom has two single beds which can be together or spaced apart, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, remote ceiling fan and patio doors leading onto the balcony. The fully refurbished bathroom is ensuite to the bedroom, with walk-in shower and large mirrored vanity unit with plenty of storage, complimentary toiletries and WC.
The balcony enjoys the sun from midday until sunset, and has two sunbeds. has beach brolly, beach towels and mats, cool bag and cool packs.
There are coin operated washer/dryers on site.
LOCATION
Cala Santanyi is in the South East corner of Majorca and is surrounded by many naturally beautiful coves and the stunning town of Santanyi is 3 km away. The neighbourhood is very tranquil, safe and friendly. The local beach 100 metres away and down approx 100 steps, is a natural, sheltered cove with fine, golden sand and is perfect for families with young children, swimming, snorkelling and diving. There are 4 beach restaurants and bars, 3 further restaurants just off the beach and frequent BBQ and music nights. The local Spar shop is open 8am-10pm from May - October. The beach has life guards, diving school, pedalos and bikes for hire, as well as sunbeds and showers. There is a large free car park adjacent to the complex.
Cala Llombards, Cala Mondrago and Cala S’Almunia are very close by, and Cala D’Or is 20 minutes drive away. There is a bus service to some local beaches. Palma airport is 45 minutes transfer.
